Sumba 2023

With a passion for education and a commitment to making a difference, I embarked on a journey to East Sumba, Indonesia, where I had the privilege of shaping the learning experiences of fourth and fifth-grade students. Through engaging English lessons finely tuned to their language proficiency, I not only facilitated language acquisition but also seamlessly integrated planetary topics into the curriculum, sparking a curiosity for science and space exploration. Leveraging diverse teaching methodologies and resources, including technology, I ensured a deep understanding of English concepts and planetary knowledge. Moreover, I fostered an inclusive classroom ethos, where active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking thrived. In this role, I not only taught but also inspired young minds, leaving a lasting impact on their educational journey.
